The redevelopment of Stadium Taranaki’s East Stand was driven by a focus on safety and long-term resilience. Following the closure of the original earthquake-prone structure, its demolition in 2021 cleared the way for a new stand designed to serve the region for decades to come.
Farnsworth Roofing was engaged at an early stage to deliver the roofing and cladding works. Our team worked collaboratively with Cleland’s Construction throughout the project, navigating the challenges of a complex, live site.
Through careful planning and execution, we delivered high-quality roofing and cladding works that contributed to a safe, durable facility, helping restore Stadium Taranaki as the region’s premier sporting venue.
The project delivered a fully rebuilt facility featuring robust structural foundations, modern amenities, and a flexible layout suited to both major sporting events and community use. Cultural narratives are thoughtfully integrated throughout the design, ensuring the venue reflects the identity and heritage of Taranaki.
