Farnsworth Roofing was selected as the roofing contractor for the Coastal Taranaki School roof remediation project, working in conjunction with Structa to deliver a comprehensive upgrade across multiple buildings on site.
The project involved replacing the existing Decramastic tile roofing with new long-run roofing iron to the school hall, Block A, and Block G. This upgrade provided a more durable, low-maintenance solution better suited to the coastal environment. To support the new roofing system, purlins were installed to accommodate the long-run iron and ensure structural integrity.
Works to Block B included the installation of new Enviroclad membrane, delivering a modern, weather-tight roofing solution for the building.
Delivered in an active school environment, the project required careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption while maintaining safety and efficiency throughout.
